The short film is based on a class of second-year students’ entry into the academic phase of drama fragments as the main storyline. In the eight-week rehearsal of the revolutionary classic play “Snowstorm in the Mountains”, under the guidance of the teachers, students gradually comprehend the plot, the characters, and other elements of the play, while shaping various real and interesting stories during that process. The learning process has several twists and turns, and even laughs. How will these students, who are not yet mature, become the resistance soldiers fighting in the world of ice and snow? After eight weeks of hard work, teachers and students eventually delivered their satisfactory results. Xiao Yangguan finally overcame her appearance anxiety, Hei Long finally settled down… and Fang Mei’s cry at the end, every tear is the result of sweat from previous rehearsals. These young students, who were once far removed from words like war and calamity, finally became true soldiers of the Resistance.
