In the small community of Abankese, where illegal mining casts a long shadow, seventeen year old Paapa, a tech-savvy dreamer, is determined to build a router to improve internet access. His best friend, Adobea, stands by him but their bond is tested as they uncover unsettling truths about those closest to them.
Just as Paapa inches towards a breakthrough and a life changing opportunity he vanishes without a trace. Now, Adobea is left with one haunting question: Where has he been taken?
