Egg Soldier is the story of Henry and his son, Jacob, as they grapple with 1930’s dust bowl life on their isolated farm following the disappearance of Jacob’s mother, Catherine.
Henry is consumed by grief, struggling to reconcile his loss while striving to care for his son. Meanwhile, Jacob refuses to accept the truth, clinging to the remnants of his mother’s memory, finding solace in the routines and artifacts she left behind.
As they search for answers and attempt to heal, Egg Soldier explores the ticking time bomb of two lost souls yearning for comfort while spiralling out of control. Can Henry break the cycle and pave a new path for his son, or will their grief consume them both?
