On New Year’s Eve, a corrupt Russian police officer, sitting in his car, watches a young man buy drugs. The officer plans to arrest him and demand a bribe, but it turns out the young man is not a drug addict, but a mythical New Year’s spirit who reminds the officer of his childhood dreams and traumas, trying to guide him onto a different life path.
