Independent Shorts Awards is delighted to announce that David Alan Graf will serve as a guest speaker for the Spotlight Q&A Panel at the 7th Annual Independent Shorts Awards, taking place on September 6, 2025, at Regal LA Live, Los Angeles.
David stars as the lead actor in the sci-fi short film Focal Point, whose world premiere will take place in Program 7: Beyond Reality Cinema #9 (2:15 PM – 3:50 PM).
Following the screening, David will join the Program 12. Spotlight Q&A at Cinema #10 (4:45 PM – 6:00 PM), alongside Focal Point’s director Raphaël Buisson, providing an in-depth discussion of the filmmaking process and the creative journey behind the film.
About David Alan Graf

David Alan Graf is a seasoned actor with a career spanning film, television, and theater. He is best known for his portrayal of Eugene Tackleberry in the Police Academy series, a role that showcased his comedic timing and physical comedy skills.
