Posted by Independent Shorts Awards is thrilled to announce that Michael Paré will join the Spotlight Q&A Panel as a guest speaker at the 7th Annual Independent Shorts Awards. The event takes place on September 6, 2025, at Regal LA Live, Los Angeles.
Michael Paré stars in drama short Steady, which screens in Program 11: Human Stories, Cinema #10, from 2:20 PM to 4:30 PM. He will be attending the screening together with his co-star Tate Donovan, before heading into the Spotlight Q&A session.
Following the screening of Steady, Michael will join the Program 12: Spotlight Q&A, also in Cinema #10, from 4:45 PM to 6:00 PM. The session promises an engaging, behind-the-scenes discussion of storytelling, acting, and the creative process.
About Michael Paré
Best known for his starring roles in the legendary ’80s cult classic films Eddie and the Cruisers and Streets of Fire, Michael Paré has solidified himself as a leading man with his classic action-hero demeanor. He has built a distinguished career spanning more than four decades, with memorable performances in both film and television.
He has done extensive television work as well, with leading roles in the series Starhunter, Houston Knights, and The Greatest American Hero.
