Teenager Xiaoguang, accustomed to city life, struggles to adapt to his late mother’s indigenous tribe and clashes with local youth, culminating in a perilous swimming contest. His uncle attempts to teach a lesson through a hunting trip, and despite a terrifying night, the sights as they descend also bring solace.
